2024-2025 SEASON INFORMATION

ABOUT

Do you love to swim, dance, or do gymnastics? If so, Synchro can be for you!!! Synchronized swimming or artistic swimming is a sport where swimmers perform a synchronized choreographed routine, accompanied by music. 

  • Synchro Season begins November 5th
  • Mandatory parent Meeting November 2nd at 1pm
  • Must by 6 years old and a stage 4 in swimming lessons.

Pricing:

COACHES

Mia Canzone:
Mia is a former Cygnet of the Synchronized Swim team for over 7 years.  In college she swam competitively on the Wheaton Synchro Team for 1 year, she then later moved closer to home to finish her education.  Her career goal is to be a research scientist that studies social psychology related topics.  Currently she is working at a non-profit research service facility.  Some of Mia's favorite things to do outside of work are walking, playing keyboard and hanging out with her cat. 
 
 
Danielle Kramer: 
Danielle began as a synchronized swimmer here with the Cygnets at the Y before competing for the Brecksville Blue Dolphins and Canton Tailspinners.  She was also a member of the USA Junior National Team in 2003 prior to swimming collegiately.  Danielle attended college at the University of the Incarnate World majoring in Chemistry and was both an All-American and Academic All-American during her time in college.  After retiring from swimming and moving back to Ohio she began coaching for the Cygnets.  Aside from coaching Danielle works for Avery Dennison as a research and Development Chemist.  Outside of the pool she loves to spend time water skiing, paddleboarding, golfing and hiking with her husband. 
 
 
Kristen Haury
Kristen was a swimmer with the Cygnets for 9 years before continuing her athletic career at Walsh University.  Following College Kristen returned to the Cygnets as a coach, later stepping away to focus on raising her three children.  She returned to coaching for the 2023 season.  In addition to coaching, Kristen's experience in aquatics includes teaching swim lessons, working as a lifeguard, serving as a synchronized swim judge, and officiating swim meets, reflecting her passion for water.  Outside the pool, Kristen teaches High School physics and chemistry,  IN her free time, she enjoys swimming, running, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
