Child Watch Hours (Ages 3 months & up)

Child watch is available for up to two hours. Parents are required to stay in the building while your child is checked in.

  • MON. - FRI.  8:00am - 12:15pm
  • MON - FRI:  5:30am - 8pm
  • SAT:  8:30 am- 12pm

HEALTHY LIVING

HEALTH SCREENING

UH Health Screenings and Lecture: Screening includes Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Sugar and BMI.

Monday, March 25th 8:30am-10am followed by lecture on the topic of "Living Well With Your Lungs" at 10:30am in the Springer Room. 

DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM

If your at risk for type 2 diabetes, you can make small, measurable changes that can reduce your risk and help you live a happier, healthier life.

The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program gives you the skills you need  and the support you deserve to make lasting, healthy lifestyle changes.

PERSONAL FITNESS

PERSONAL TRAINING PACKAGE

 

By appointment only.

Fee:

  • $100 initial package (4 training sessions)
  • Single: $30 single session

WELLNESS CENTER

Our Wellness Center, with state of the art exercise equipment, is designed to meet the needs of members at various fitness abilities. Basic orientations, for members 16 years and up, are recommended and are free. Simply call or stop by the Wellness Center to make an appointment.

SOCIAL GROUPS

BOOK CLUB

Beg, borrow or buy the featured book, read it and join the group to share your perspective. The book club meets on the second Friday of each month. Pack a lunch (optional). The group meets in the Youth Center from Noon-1pm.

No registration necessary. Fee: FREE!

CHALLENGES

IRONMAN

Join us for a challenge to complete a triathlon: 26.2 mile run, 112 mile bike, and 2 mile swim. There is a category for everyone. Pick the level that’s appropriate for you. Then set your goal; one/two week=Gold, three/four weeks=silver, and five/six=bronze. We start together on February 24th. Sign up online at: East End Y IronMan Challenge

CERTIFICATIONS

BASIC LIFE SAVING (CPR PRO)

This American Safety and Health Institute course is appropriate for most individuals looking to fulfill a CPR requirement.

MARTIAL ARTS

This class focuses on self defense tactics that are valuable and empowering for all. Learn different techniques and survival strategies that help increase flexibility, strength, and balance to help you feel stronger and safer on a day to day basis.
