Central Y Preschool Camp

CENTRAL Y PRESCHOOL CAMP

For potty-trained boys and girls ages 3 - 5

Camp runs from 9:30am-noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only. Age appropriate activities are based on the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Each week will have a theme to base activities and special events on. Campers have an opportunity to enjoy a camplike experience as well as prepare them to attend Day Camp when they reach school age.

LEADERSHIP

Preschool camp is overseen by our Youth Development Director, Elisa Hennies, who has over 10 years of camp experience. Laura Cvelbar is the preschool Camp Coordinator and the lead teacher throughout the camp day. Laura has been working with the preschool camp for several summers now and was our Lead Teacher for our Children’s Morning Out preschool program in the past. Elisa and Laura collaborate together, as well as the other camp teachers, to ensure an active, educational and safe experience for all youth involved.

WEEK 4 - PRINCESSES AND PIRATES

Which side of the plank are you on? Your pick to dress as a princess or a pirate on Friday.

WEEK 5 - UNDER THE SEA

From lakes to rivers, from seas to oceans, what is under those waters? Will there be bubbles, mermaids, or an octopus? Come take a dip with us and let’s find out! Put on a shirt with anything from sea creatures to the Little Mermaid on Friday.

WEEK 6 - COOK IT TO CREATE IT
