LAKE COUNTY YMCA MOVING TO THE NEXT STAGE OF REOPENING!  LEARN EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR LIMITED REOPENING.

All of the Lake County Y branches are now open. We are still maintaining the social and physical distance practices needed to maintain a healthy and safe environment while opening more areas of the facility to meet community wellness needs. 

We have also opened the Outdor Y in Perry  with limited capacity.  Other changes include, branch hours, addition of family time and those 16 and over may use the facility. See below for more details!

FACILITY HOURS:

  • Monday- Friday: 5am- 8pm 
  • Saturday: 8am-2pm/12-2pm Family Time (Reservation Only)
  • Sunday:  Closed

Service at these locations are still limited per the state’s initial guidelines. Pools are now open!  Please review our safety protocols  in the interest of protecting the health of both our members and staff. Restricted access is available to those 16 years old and over. During family time, members of the same household can schedule time to play together. Youth 15 years old and under may use the facility only during these times and must be directly supervised by an adult at all times.

AREAS OPEN WITH RESTRICTIONS


• Cardio and strength areas open with significant restrictions on capacity and activities
• Group Exercise rooms
• Indoor Pools
• Only designated bathrooms will be open
• Only no touch bottle filling available (water fountains closed)
• Seating areas significantly reduced to prevent gathering
• Furniture re-positioned to be at least six feet apart
• Locker rooms are open. Showers are open from 5am-9am only
• Track open dependent on branch operations

POOL TIME

  • Indoor pools will be open for lap swimming, water walking, and aquatics group exercise. 
  • During lap swim and water walking, one adult per lap-lane unless members live in the same household.
  • Pool access may be limited due to classes. 
  • Locker rooms are open. Showers are open from 5am-9am only.  
  • Bins will be provided on the pool deck for you to store your belongings. 
  • Lanes are on a first come first serve basis. 
  • Chairs or benches will be provided if there happens to be a wait for a pool lane.  
  • Only kickboards and fins are available in the pool and will be disinfected between uses.

FAMILY TIME

  • Family Time will be available Monday- Friday 6-8pm Saturday 12-2pm in the Gymnasium and Pool only with reservation.
  • Members of the same household can schedule time to play together during this time.
  • Youth 15 and under may use the facility only during these times and must be directly supervised by an adult at all times.

We ask that all members take their temperature prior to coming into the facility.  If your temperature is over 100.4, we ask that you stay home..

Respect all signs regarding social distancing. Stay at least six feet away from others wherever possible.
