A Summer of Fun, Friendship, and Growth

Lake County YMCA Day Camp offers a safe, engaging, and enriching summer experience where children build confidence, make friends, and stay active—all while having fun. Our YMCA staff create a welcoming environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and personal growth for every camper.

At YMCA Day Camp, kids enjoy a full day of age-appropriate activities including swimming, sports, games, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, team-building activities, and themed weekly programs. Campers develop important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and independence in a supportive, values-based setting.

Camp Schedule

Hours 9 am - 4 pm
Drop off between 8:30 -8:55 am
The bus leaves promptly at 9 am daily.
Pick up between 4 - 4:30 pm
(Campers picked up after 4:30 pm will automatically enrolled in extended
care for the week.)


Check in/out takes place in the rear parking lot, located in the
back of the Central Y. Photo ID may be required. Refer to the
weekly schedule.
 

Extended Care
7 am – 9 am AND 4 pm – 6 pm.
Y Members $30/Program Members $60 per week per child

A $5 late fee is assessed for every 5 min after the 6 pm pick-
up time. Please call if you anticipate being late.

 

Registration

PROGRAM FEE ASSISTANCE Deadline May 1, 2026
We believe that financial hardship should not prevent
children from attending Summer Camp and because of
the generosity of donors, we are able to offer financial
assistance. Applications available online and at the Y.
 

2026 FEES
A $25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is
required at the time of registration per child per week.
The balance of fees is due on the Friday before each
week of camp. MUST be an active member at time of
registration to receive member rate and remain an
active member through the end of all registered
camp weeks.


Y Members: $185/week Program Members: $265/week
Additional children: (Members ONLY)
First Addition Child: $175/week
Second Addition Child: $170/week
Third+ Addition Children: $165/week


There is a $10 late fee for any payment made after the due date.
Please assist us by submitting payments on time.

Registration available online, by phone, or in-house. Sched-
uled automatic payments are required. Any extenuating

circumstances may be brought to the Camp Director. Details

Camper Age Groups

Our Day Camp offers a wide array of activities including field

trips, swimming, arts and crafts, games, sports, nature activi-
ties, character building, special events, songs, skits and more.

Even rainy days are fun! Many of our activities include get-
ting wet, dirty and very messy! Please make sure your child is

wearing appropriate clothes to take part in such activities.

Financial Assistance

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to attend camp, but understand that sometimes families need help with the cost. All Lake County YMCA members are eligible to apply.
