For kids and teens entering grades 3 through 9
Camp Fitch is located on 450 beautiful acres on Lake Erie at North Springfield, PA. Campers are divided into girls camp and boys camp. Each has a recreation lodge for indoor activities, showers, and modern plumbing. Campers live with six other campers and a counselor in one of Camp Fitch's unique cabents.
Throughout each camp day, campers participate in several activities include sports & games, swimming, boating, nature, archery, crafts, and much more!
Our staff consists of full-time program directors at the Lake County YMCA, college students, and local high school students. The staff is trained in several areas and are chosen based on their leadership abilities, experience working with children, and personal character values. All staff members are volunteers and are at camp to provide your child with a safe, fun week!
Camp Fitch registration will begin in January at the Central, East End, and West End Branches. A $25 deposit per camper is due at the time of registration. The balance of all fees is due May 31, 2010.
Parents can also make a deposit into their camper's Camp Fitch "bank account" prior to arriving at camp. Doing this in advance will save time during check-in at camp!
