Donate to the Lake County YMCA!


The Lake County YMCA is a non-profit organization serving more than 60,000 members and participants in Lake County.  To help us maintain our mission, we rely on generous donors who make it possible for us to keep program fees at a minimum and to provide financial assistance to those in need.  

There are four primary avenues of giving which are listed below.  For more information, or to make a donation to the Lake County YMCA, contact your local branch or e-mail Peggy Swanger, Director of Development.

Annual Support

Gifts made through the annual Strong Kids Campaign are in support of operating programs and membership assistance for those in need.


Endowment Fund

Gifts to the Endowment Fund are made to secure the future of the Lake County YMCA.  The gift (principal) earns income, the income (interest) is used according to the direction of the Metro Board of Directors.  If you make a commitment to the Endowment Fund through a will, trust, or cash gift, you become a member of our Heritage Club.  

Memorial Fund

Gifts can be made to honor loved ones (living or deceased) or to commemorate a special event.  Memorial Fund gifts are put in the Endowment Fund unless otherwise stipulated.

Special Gifts

Donors can make cash gifts designated for a specific purpose other than programs covered by the Strong Kids Annual Campaign.
