How big is the East End YMCA Pool?
Our pool is 6 lanes wide and 25 yards long.
Can my 5 year old child be in the pool with my 13 year old child?
No. Children ages 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old.
Do I have to take a swim test in order to go into the deep end?
Yes. You must be able to swim the length of the pool and back without stopping in order to swim in the deep end.
What is the pool dress code?
All swimmers must have a swimsuit. Children in diapers MUST wear a swim diaper.
Can my child wear a flotation device in the pool?
Yes, but the child must stay in the shallow section and MUST be directly supervised by an adult. Water wings or inflatable floatation devices are not permitted, only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed.
Can I rent the pool? How much does it cost?
Yes. The pool is available for rental. Please contact the YMCA at 440-428-5125 for current pricing and packages.
I just want membership to the pool, how much is that?
Our membership includes everything in our facility. We do not offer a pool only membership.
