Do I have to sign a contract to become a member of the Lake County YMCA?

No, we are a membership organization. You can pay by automatic withdrawal monthly or pay for the year.

Can I use my Lake County YMCA membership anywhere?

We are part of the AWAY program that allows you to use other YMCA associations 50 miles or more away from your home association when traveling.

Does the Lake County YMCA offer membership assistance or reduced rate memberships?

The Lake County YMCA offers membership assistance based on need. Forms are available on-line or at the branches.

Do I need to set up an appointment for a tour?

We would be happy to set up an appointment to tour our facilities. We also have walk-in tours available every day of the week we are open.

What is the procedure for canceling a membership?

If you want to terminate or change your membership you must give the YMCA a 30 day written notice.

Is there a way to secure my valuables while visiting the YMCA?

We offer secure lockers that you can pay by the visit or you can supply your own lock for lockers that are available in the locker rooms.
